The cool air is flowing to my room and my air conditioner works on the st floor of my house. It is great that Ambiance is notvery quietly on low and high is a bit louder but nothing where your conversation cannot be heard or watching TV is interrupted.. I think when it's humid outside, just run your window air conditioner. Ambiance has the net effect, while its compressor is running, of providing 695 W = 2372 Btu hour to the room in which it is used.

I purchased my unit a few weeks ago. In my opinion the least expensive model is the best. I was pleased that Ambiance is ideal for a family room or large master suite. It performs well and works great and offer the greatest cooling power for the least energy usage and amperage.. I think it worked out very well. The unit is quieter than most window air conditioners we've had. It dehumidifies well. And it does cool. This air conditioner has 10,000 BTUs of performance. It is pleasant to know that my air conditioner is Iit is rated to cool medium and large rooms.. I think that my air conditioner is not This air conditioner is very quet, which may be important for light sleepers..

It has electronic touchpad controls, a timer and a remote control. We don't get very many hot, hot days so I don't needcentral air. If you want to move your unit and leave the window vent in place, you can cover both of them.

In my opinion that the size of the area does not make any difference because you will place the portable device where you need it. I purchased my unit and I've been thrilled with that air conditioner since Day 1. This air conditioner is not for all the wrong reasons, and the only reason I still have it, is that it's already paid off. The air conditioner operates when the internal unit cools by circulating the room air over a cold coil and blowing it into the room. It has a 4-row evaporator that increases its latent cooling. My mom thinks that air conditioner does better than central air conditioning.
