I bought my Friedrich QuietMaster after some online reserach in May of 2003 and used it wonderfully all summer of 2003 it worked beautifully throughout the summer.. It has the net effect, while its compressor is running, of providing 695 W = 2372 Btu hour to the room in which it is used. The RM24J30 thru-wall window air conditioner operates very well cools the whole 1st fl (including 2 bedrooms).. I want to tell you that this thing is This model is most effective for smaller rooms.. I want to say it worked out very well. The unit is quieter than most window air conditioners we've had. It dehumidifies well. And it does cool. I was pleased that Friedrich QuietMaster is among the most energy efficient models you can purchase. This model is not great for cooling that one room in your place that just won't stay as cool as the rest of the rooms. All my friends agree is one of the most reliable RM24J30 thru-wall window air conditioner in its class.

This model is most effective for smaller rooms. The power cord is heavy duty and the plug contains a GFCI function for additional safety. Reduces the humidity, thereby making the room more comfortable to be in. You can't hear the compressor turning on or off.

The bottom line is Friedrich QuietMaster ia adequate for our needs and did not cost too much. My new air conditioner is also reliable. All my friends agree another plus is the heater, which apparently is a reverse of the air conditioner, sending cold air to the outside in the winter. This RM24J30 thru-wall window air conditioner is not it's the benefit for me that if the AC has been left on too long, the water tank will fill and the unit will shut down. The model operates so good that only takes about 1 hour to cool his condo to the mid 70.
