It performs well and works very well cools the whole 1st fl (including 2 bedrooms).. I ordered it in May of 2003 and used it wonderfully all summer of 2003 it worked beautifully throughout the summer.. This mode is easy to use for maximum convenience. I am glad that it is not by far one of the most energy efficient thru-wall window air conditioner available. All my friends agree is one of the most reliable thru-wall window air conditioner in its class. What I love about it that my thru-wall window air conditioner has a unique shape allowing it to be installed in various window types.

It has electronic touchpad controls, a timer and a remote control. During the very hot part of the day this thru-wall window air conditioner unit kept my room and master bath area a nice 68 degrees. We use the unit with a sliding door.

I bought my Sanyo STW1523H2 after some online reserach and I've been thrilled with that thru-wall window air conditioner since Day 1. I am glad that it is not for all the wrong reasons, and the only reason I still have it, is that it's already paid off. My family agrees we are grateful to get a good night’s sleep during this hot, sticky summer. My Sanyo STW1523H2 is This model is most effective for smaller rooms.. I think that it's attractive to look at and the controls are intuitive and easy to use. What I love about it that my thru-wall window air conditioner has 9,000 BTUs of performance. Sanyo STW1523H2 is great for cooling that one room in your place that just won't stay as cool as the rest of the rooms. This air conditioner works very well cools the whole 1st fl (including 2 bedrooms)..
